Case Study

Crisis plan development for a global bank

When:
2019
Where:
Asia Pacific
Services involved:
Threat Assessment
Crisis Planning and Continuity
Crisis Response and Advisory

Overview

We carried out a very large threat assessment and crisis preparation project for a major financial institution covering their Asia Pacific operations, looking specifically at the threats posed by the situation on the Korean Peninsula, the South China Sea, natural disasters and pandemic to their multi-trillion dollar operation.

We identified clear key risk indicators which could be monitored for signs of escalation across a range of scenarios, and linked them to a robust and actionable crisis response plan which could be executed by a global team or individually in the country in question.

The project required extensive engagement globally across the institution to create a workable plan and to gain buy-in for our identified threat scenarios and responses.
