Sofia Liemann Escobar

Sofia is a recent PhD graduate from the Centre for Doctoral Training in Cyber Security at Royal Holloway, University of London, specialising in cyber policy in Latin America. Her doctoral thesis explored Colombia’s creation and negotiation of cyber security and digital policy in the context of a post-conflict and developing state. During her PhD studies, Sofia gained experience in organising and delivering cyber exercises as a volunteer organiser in the UK Cyber Leaders Challenge. Sofia also holds an MA from Sciences Po in International Security and a BA from King’s College London in War Studies.
