Simon is responsible for leading the investigation team, and assist clients in responding to crime, working alongside lawyers to support a wide variety of litigation, and is an expert in conducting private prosecutions.

Simon was formerly a detective on the elite Flying Squad in London, investigating serious and organised crime, and uses this expertise in complex and covert criminal investigation to assist his clients.

About Simon

Simon is Director of Investigations at AnotherDay. He is responsible for leading the investigation team, working with clients in responding to crime, working alongside lawyers in supporting a wide variety of litigation, and working closely with clients at a strategic level on mitigating the risks posed by organised crime groups.

Simon regularly conducts private prosecutions, working with victims of fraud and other crimes to seek justice. Simon regularly works alongside instructed solicitors and counsel, gathering evidence and acting as disclosure officer, to ensure the highest standard of criminal investigation is adhered to. Simon is on the Executive Committee of the Private Prosecutors’ Association, and has written and spoken extensively on the subject.

Simon has a wealth of experience in bringing successful private prosecutions, having regularly secured convictions on a wide variety of cases – this includes a former director who was sentenced to 4.2 years in prison for stealing £500,000 from his company; 4.5 years for a former investment fund manager who stole over £1m from the company, and 2.5 years for an accountant who diverted funds away from vulnerable individuals.

Simon also regularly works alongside lawyers, counsel and individuals to support a wide variety of litigation, such as international asset tracing, and crypto currency related fraud. Simon also supports organisations with enhanced due diligence, understanding more about individuals and companies in difficult and opaque jurisdictions.

Simon Davison is a former senior detective from the elite Flying Squad in the Metropolitan Police in London. He regularly conducted high profile and complex investigations into organised and violent criminal networks, and ran covert operations targeting armed suspects who were planning audacious and high risk offences in London and the UK.

Simon brings his leadership, expertise, knowledge of complex investigation solutions and prosecution of organised criminal groups, plus his visionary approach to crime prevention and detection, to AnotherDay.
