When:
2016
Where:
East Asia
Services involved:
Crisis Planning and Continuity

Overview

We delivered improvised explosive device (IED) specific incident management training for the law enforcement branch of a major south east Asian nation to help mitigate a domestic terror threat.

The training included how to approach and operate around improvised explosive devices, command and control, crowd management and intelligence assessment and support. We also advised on tools and technologies that would be required to effectively deal with such incidents at the strategic and tactical levels, improving the capabilities of these units in the long term.
